As reported in the Museums Association Article on Tuesday 1st August, The Hornimam Museums and Gardens have been awarded the Heritage Lottery Fund money required to complete the inspirational Nature + Love Project.
Our High Accuracy and Best Practice 3D Survey, completed in July 2022, has informed the accurate analysis of the project buildings and landscape to produce the initial reports and designs. The survey data will continue to serve the Nature + Love project as a resource of spatial information, building forensics, drawings and measurements throughout the project. The data will continue to serve the museum and maintenance for years to come as it is a Grade II* listed site and the building will not fundamentally change.
Another option for the museum is to use the data for virtual reality explorations and interactive experiences for website or museum visitors. Watch this space!
